The AIPP program requires a candidate to get a job offer from a designated employer in the Atlantic provinces of Canada.
These provinces include;
- New Brunswick
- Newfoundland and Labrador
- Nova Scotia
- Prince Edward Island
The advantage of applying for job in these provinces are that the employers are not entitled to pay an LMIA fee to the government of Canada. This helps the candidate with a higher chance of securing the employment.
Another advantage is that your job offer doesn’t need to be within the same field as other jobs you’ve had.
The candidates need to make sure that you are qualified for the program and are selected by the employer in the job offer
